Even though the piece isfood, dishwasher and microwave safe, you should take special care of it if you want to keep it for a longer time. Wash by hand all pieces if possible and avoid leaving liquid in them for a long period of time. Crackle glazed pieces will stain over time due to the use of high coloured liquids, so please avoid using strongly staining foods/liquids. Also, it is preferable to avoid sudden changes in temperature, so it is better to let the boiling water settle before pouring it into the teapot.
