Wheelthrown fireclay mug with altered rim. Glazed with lutite rock collected from the Puiggraciós mountain, el Figaró (Barcelona) and oak ash. Fired in a reducing atmosphere to 1300ºC for 11 hours in a manual gas kiln.

Even though the pieces are food, dishwasher and microwave safe, you should take special care of them if you want to keep them for a longer time. Wash by hand all pieces if possible and avoid leaving liquid in them for a long period of time. Crackle glazed pieces will stain over time due to the use of high coloured liquids, so please avoid using strongly staining foods/liquids. Also, it is preferable to avoid sudden changes in temperature, so it is better to let the boiling water settle before pouring it into the cup.
